Picker Workflow
When customers order through the Snoomart Qatar app, they see a success screen — then later a notification that their order is packed and on the way. But what happens in between? This project is about that invisible process: the picker's journey through a large grocery store, collecting items as efficiently as possible.

The old process — paper-based, one order at a time
Pickers could only handle a single order at once. In large grocery buildings, this meant long walking paths, wasted time, and inefficiency during peak hours. Before the app, managers printed receipts, manually distributed them, and pickers walked the floor with paper lists.

Four operational pain points
The single-order, paper-based flow created compounding inefficiencies across every picking session.

Three-stage discovery process
We approached the problem through direct observation and interviews — with our real users being store staff and branch managers, not end customers.

Multiple order management in one app
After launch, the workflow reduced manual coordination and enabled pickers to prepare multiple orders in one trip, making the in-store operation more scalable during peak demand.
